Terms of Service – Serenest Doctor App

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Serenest Doctor App by registered medical professionals (“Doctor”, “You”, “User”).

By registering or using the Serenest Doctor App, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility & Verification

  • Only Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) holding a valid license under Indian law are permitted
  • Serenest reserves the right to verify qualifications, registration numbers, and identity
  • Access may be denied, suspended, or revoked at any time if verification fails

2. Nature of Platform

  • Serenest is a technology-enabled facilitation platform
  • Serenest does not practice medicine
  • All consultations are conducted independently by the Doctor

3. Professional Responsibility

  • Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment decisions
  • Compliance with Telemedicine Practice Guidelines (India)
  • Ensuring prescriptions are ethical and legal

Serenest bears no responsibility for clinical outcomes.

4. Scope & Limitations of Telepsychiatry

  • Doctors must refuse emergency or high-risk consultations
  • Redirect patients to emergency services when required
  • Avoid prescribing restricted substances illegally

5. Data Access & Confidentiality

  • Doctors will have access only to necessary patient data
  • Doctors must maintain strict confidentiality
  • Unauthorized data sharing is strictly prohibited
  • Serenest may audit logs for compliance

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Sharing personal contact details outside the app
  • Off-platform consultations without approval
  • Recording or distributing consultation content
  • Unethical or abusive behavior

Violation may result in permanent ban without compensation.

7. Payments & Earnings

  • Earnings are subject to platform fees and taxes
  • Payments follow Serenest payout cycle
  • Serenest is not liable for payment gateway delays
  • Serenest may withhold payouts during disputes

8. Indemnity

Doctors agree to indemnify Serenest from medical negligence claims, legal disputes, and regulatory action.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Serenest is not liable for loss of income
  • Not responsible for patient disputes
  • Maximum liability limited to platform fees paid

10. Suspension & Termination

  • Serenest may suspend or terminate access anytime
  • Records may be retained after termination
  • No compensation upon termination

11. Non-Exclusivity

  • Doctors are free to practice elsewhere
  • Serenest does not guarantee patient volume

12. Modifications & Jurisdiction

  • Terms may be updated without notice
  • Continued use implies acceptance
  • Jurisdiction: Courts of India
